At the end of 2020, I was delighted to receive confirmation that I had won yet another award: this time the Corporate LiveWire Global Awards 2020.
This is the text of the email I received: “You were considered in the category Dog Walking Business of the Year. Having reviewed information on all of those shortlisted, I am pleased to confirm you have been picked as the 2020 winner, congratulations.”

The judging panel admired Grania for her dedication to animal care services, ensuring no pet gets neglected or overlooked while in her care. Having grown up around many animals, and used dog walking services in the past herself, she knows how comforting it is to know someone experienced will be on hand to cater to the individual needs of pets. She is friendly, trustworthy and professional, treating all animals as if they were her own. Going beyond simple walks, Grania ensures dogs are stimulated with long and varied routes, using toys and practising basic training if the client prefers. Dogs are towelled down and left content with a full water bowl, ready to greet owners happily on their return.
